BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 20. The passenger traffic through Iranian airports increased by 8 percent during the nine months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through December 20, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through December 21, 2023).

Data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Airports Company shows that 26.9 million passengers were transported through Iranian airports during the nine months.

The statistics indicate that 24.9 million passengers were transported through Iranian airports during the same period last year.
