BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. Azerbaijan has reduced the import spending on ships, boats and floating structures from January through October 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that this figure amounted to $28.59 million, down $46.65 million (61.7 percent) from the same period in 2023.
Imports of ships during this period made up 0.17 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports.
To note, last year Azerbaijan imported ships, boats and floating structures worth $74.6 million.
In the first 10 months of last year, imports of ships amounted to 0.53 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports.
