BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 15. The gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 1.5 billion manat ($882 million) in 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this is 3.1 percent more than the figure for the corresponding period of 2023.
Production of gross domestic product per capita increased by 2.5 percent and amounted to 3,277 manat ($1,927) during the mentioned period.
The production of industrial products during this period amounted to 467.2 million manat ($274.7 million), representing an 8.2 percent decline from 2023.
Moreover, investments in fixed assets during this period reached 270.6 million manat ($159.1 million), marking a 62.3 percent increase compared to the previous year. Of this amount, 230.6 million manat ($135.6 million) were allocated to construction and installation works, reflecting a 68.1 percent rise from 2023.
