BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 6. About 622,300 cubic meters of building bricks were produced in Azerbaijan in 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this is 4,300 cubic meters, or 0.7 percent more than in 2023.
Thus, 618,000 cubic meters of building bricks were produced in the country in 2023.
To note, the total value of production in the field of construction materials in Azerbaijan in 2024 totaled 1.4 billion manat ($823 million), increasing by 16.9 percent compared to the previous year.
The production of bricks, cement, and concrete products increased by 40.7 percent, prefabricated concrete building structures by 40.7 percent, construction gypsum by 21.2 percent, cement clinker by 15.8 percent, concrete by 12.1 percent, and asphalt production by 15.4 percent during the reporting period.
