BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 9. Azerbaijan didn't export silk in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that last January, the country exported silk worth $112,000, while in the same month of this year, this amount was zero.
In January of this year, Azerbaijan imported silk worth $5,200, which has remained unchanged compared to the same month in 2024 when the value of silk imported by Azerbaijan was also $5,200.
To note, last year, Azerbaijan exported 53 tons of silk worth $928,000. Additionally, the value of the silk imported during 2024 amounted to $225,000.
