BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. Azerbaijan produced 58,700 construction lime from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that this indicator is 57,700 tons, or two times less than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan produced 116,400 tons of limestone for construction during the same period in 2024.
Additionally, lime production in Azerbaijan from January through February 2025 reached 4,500 tons, reflecting an increase of 600 tons or 15.4 percent compared to the previous year. Additionally, the country produced 3,900 tons of lime in the first two months of 2024.
As of March 1, 2025, the country's lime reserves stood at 5,800 tons.
