TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 15. On April 14, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on the initiative to build a small hydroelectric power station on the Chirchik river, Trend reports.
During the presentation, it was emphasized that the hydroelectric power station would provide the complex with affordable and environmentally friendly electricity.
Another project under discussion was the development of the Chorvok Darvoza complex in the Bostanlyk district to enhance the tourism sector. In December of last year, President Mirziyoyev personally visited the construction site, and the first phase of the project has recently been completed. The complex will feature 16 multi-apartment buildings, 3 hotels, commercial and service facilities, cafes and restaurants, a bank office, and parking areas. Solar panels will be installed on the roofs of the buildings to ensure sustainability.
Additionally, in the Yakkasaray district, plans are underway to construct a mixed-use residential and business complex. The development will include multi-story buildings, kindergartens, schools, sports and wellness centers, a hotel, and office spaces, creating a modern urban environment.
The president stressed the importance of thoroughly planning the legal, financial, and infrastructure aspects of these projects. He instructed officials to develop a clear and detailed action plan with specific timelines and quality requirements while ensuring strict oversight during the implementation process.
