BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. Iran has proposed to create a transit corridor Iran-Azerbaijan-Georgia within the framework of TRACECA, the advisor to the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development and director of the Center for International Affairs of the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development Amin Taraffo told local media, Trend reports.
According to him, the proposal was put forward during the visit of Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh to Azerbaijan.
Taraffo stated that Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development is the head of TRACECA commission in 2025 and all three mentioned countries are members of this commission.
In addition to North-South and East-West transport corridors, Iran intends to develop relations with neighboring countries within the framework of Europe-Caucasus-Asia-TRACECA transport corridor.
