BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Azerbaijan's construction brick production from January through April 2025 has seen a notable increase compared to the same period last year, reaching 217,900 cubic meters.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this marks a 21.2 percent, or 38,100 cubic meters, surge compared to the same period of 2024 (179,800 cubic meters).
Meanwhile, the country maintained a reserve of 8,400 cubic meters of ready bricks as of May 1, 2025.
However, Azerbaijan's total value of building materials produced from January through April 2025 decreased by 12.9 percent compared to the same period of 2024, totaling 401.4 million manat ($236.1 million).
