BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. Saudi Aramco reported a sharp quarter-on-quarter increase in free cash flow for the third quarter of 2025, supported by higher earnings and improved working capital, Trend reports.
Free cash flow rose to SAR 88.4 billion ($23.6 billion) in 3Q2025, up from SAR 57.1 billion ($15.2 billion) in the previous quarter. The improvement was driven by stronger operating cash flow and lower tax payments, while capital expenditures remained broadly stable.
Compared to the same period last year, free cash flow also grew from SAR 82.5 billion ($22 billion), reflecting higher operating cash flow and reduced capital spending, mainly in the upstream segment.
For the first nine months of 2025, however, free cash flow declined to SAR 217.3 billion ($58.0 billion) from SAR 238.9 billion ($63.7 billion) in the corresponding period of 2024. The decrease was attributed to lower earnings and higher capital expenditures, particularly in the downstream segment.
