The profits of Turkish banks in the fourth quarter of 2012 increased by 25 percent compared to the same period of 2011, the Turkish Banking Regulation Agency said today.
During the reporting period, the total profit of Turkish banks amounted to $4.7 billion.
According to the report, Akbank earned much profit last quarter. Its profit hits $1 billion, which is 33 percent more than the same period of 2011.
