The Millikart Group processing center plans to release at least three new products by late 2013, Millikart Group executive director Jalal Orujov told Trend on Thursday.

"I will not reveal any details, but I can say that Millikart Group will be a direct operator of some of them," he added. "Other products will be delivered through the banks. Perhaps their number will be even greater."

According to him, the company continues working on the development of the existing products.

"A large-scale advertising campaign of our gift card - ParPar will be launched soon," he said. "We conducted a pilot launch to reveal the pros and cons of the product, examine consumer opinions and find out the problems faced by them in city outlets. Positive results were obtained and we are going to develop the project from the point of view of marketing and expanding our partner network."

According to him, this is the first experience of the company.

"We are the sellers and the operators of the project," he said. "This is our first independent experience in retail and I hope that this experience will be successful. Several other products based on similar technology are being developed for ParPar."

MilliKart LLC was established on July 14, 2006 by 18 banks with a capital of four million manat. In 2010, MilliKart's share capital was increased to five million manat and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) became the nineteenth bank to join the organization. EBRD increased MilliKart's share capital by 500,000 manat, receiving a 10 percent interest in the LLC.

To date, MilliKart serves 15 banks, which have installed over 380 ATMs and more than 4,000 POS-terminals and issued over 350,000 cards.

The official exchange rate is 0.7845 AZN/USD on Sept. 20.
