The construction of a number of engineering and technical facilities for the drainage of muddy waters is planned in Ashgabat, Altyn Asyr TV channel reports.
This project was submitted to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for consideration.
The head of state stressed that in order to protect territories and objects from the impact of floods, it is necessary to carefully calculate the configuration of structures designed to detain and change the trajectory of flows, the message said.
At the same time, the president demanded to ensure the improvement of the efficiency of all services of the capital city, paying special attention to the competent operation of engineering infrastructure. Last month, due to heavy rains, central districts of Ashgabat were flooded.
