Gakh Mineral Su LLC, a mineral water producer in Azerbaijan, plans to export to other markets of the region, the Director of the company Jamal Mukhtarov told Trend.
The director noted that the company is currently planning to export to the Russian market.
"The Russian market is convenient for us in terms of logistics and transportation. On the other hand, as we found out, there is a demand for our products there. We have studied this market, so we look forward to long-term cooperation with Russian partners. By the end of 2019, we also plan to increase production capacity to 40,000 bottles of water per day. Currently, this figure varies between 25,000 and 30,000 bottles per day," Mukhtarov said.
He noted that the first delivery to the Russian market could be in the amount of 150,000-180,000 bottles.
"We plan to gradually increase export volumes and at the same time, to increase output," he said.
The mineral water bottled by Gakh Mineral Su is sold domestically in Baku and in 22 regions of the country.
The company's products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The company is located in the Suskend village of Gakh district.
