Government of Uzbekistan has put up for sale five hectares of land on the territory of Karkidon Reservoir, located in Kuva district of Fergana region, with the condition of investing in tourism projects in this area, Trend reports with reference to the State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the decree of the Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers of December 3, 2018, the administration of Fergana region developed a plan of action for the implementation of the road map for the development of ecotourism in the region.

It is planned to build hotels, motels, resorts, entertainment facilities, restaurants, water sports facilities, a beach area and a pier on this territory. The total value of the complex is 27.8 billion soum ($2.7 million), which will create about 100 jobs.

Currently, on the basis of developed tourism projects, the region is divided into lots and trades for the convenience of investors, through an electronic auction through a single electronic trading platform E-IJRO AUKSION. The auction will continue until July 29, 2020.
