The construction of a primary gas treatment unit at the Yormok gas condensate field of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department managed by Uzbekneftegaz JSC has started, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, the construction of a primary gas treatment unit has begun in order to increase hydrocarbon production at the Yormok gas condensate field, eliminate hydraulic resistance in gas pipelines and supply the produced natural gas to gas treatment and processing facilities located at the Shurtan main building, and to ensure stable operation of the gas transmission system.
It is reported that the specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department delivered a separator, a liquid separator, and air equipment necessary for the construction of this unit from the Mubarek gas processing plant.
Also, two tanks, pipes of different sizes, ball valves, and valves were separated from the internal capacities of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department.
It was noted that these measures will contribute to the rational use of available internal resources and reduce travel costs for Uzbekneftegaz.
Construction and installation work is being intensively carried out by the capital construction department of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department.
The Yormok field is located in the Guzar district of the Kashkadarya region and was commissioned in 2018.
