BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. PASHA Yatirim Bankasi A.S. (PASHA Bank Türkiye) has ended the second quarter of 2022 with a net profit of 104.276 million Turkish liras ($5.8 million), while in the same period of 2021 this figure totaled 26.019 million Turkish liras ($1.44 million), Trend reports citing the bank's financial report of the bank.
Thus, the bank's profit has quadrupled in a year.
According to the report, the bank's net interest income amounted to 79.539 million Turkish liras ($4.4 million), formed of interest revenues of 171.965 million Turkish liras, or $9.57 million (growth of 86.46 percent year-on-year) and interest expenses of 92.426 million Turkish liras ($5.14 million).
The net fee and commission income of PASHA Yatirim Bankasi A.S. reached 25.412 million Turkish liras ($1.41 million), whilst trading profit (net) – 23.82 million Turkish liras ($1.3 million).
Profit before tax and contingency related to banking activities made up 134.143 million Turkish liras ($7.46 million), whereas income tax payments – 29.867 million Turkish liras ($1.66 million).
Thus, PASHA Yatirim Bankasi A.S. finished the second quarter of 2022 with a net profit of 104.276 million Turkish liras ($5.8 million).
