BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Azerbaijan's GoldenPay OJSC increased its charter capital by 429,000 manat ($252,350), representing a 75.1 percent boost, Trend reports.
The company’s data shows that its charter capital rose from 571,000 manat ($335,880) to one million manat ($590,000).
To achieve this increase, 429,000 new shares with a par value of one manat (59 cents) each were issued through a closed placement.
GoldenPay, the first fintech company in Azerbaijan, was officially registered in 2007. It began operations in December 2008 and owns the online payment portal Hesab.az, which allows users to make utility, mobile, and internet payments, pay bank loans, parking fees, and other types of payments, as well as purchase insurance products, movie tickets, and airline tickets.
