The ninth meeting of transport ministers of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is scheduled for May 3, the Turkmen State News Agency (TDH) reported April 14.
Preparations for the upcoming meeting in Avaza will be included in the agenda of the 23rd meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the ECO in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, scheduled for April 17.
The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is an intergovernmental economic organization, created in 1985 by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. Since 1992, the activity of the organization has intensified with joining of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
