BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Since the beginning of 2022, the rice purification plant in the Dashoguz region in the northeast of Turkmenistan has produced more than 4,500 tons of whole and broken rice, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the plant manufactured products worth 6.5 million Turkmen manats ($1.8 million).
The plant uses equipment that allows processing without waste. Rice processed at the plant is in great demand in the domestic market of the country.
Furthermore, rice farming is one of the main sectors of the agricultural sector of the Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan.
