Iran reveals export volumes of non-oil products via Bileh Savar customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. About 141,000 tons of non-oil products worth $72 million were exported through the Bileh Savar border customs post of Ardabil province in northwestern Iran during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), governor of Bileh Savar district of Iran's Ardabil province Sahibali Asgari told reporters, Trend reports.

According to him, $16 million of the sum mentioned in connection with exports belongs to the sixth month (from August 22 through September 21, 2024).

Asgari noted that the establishment of the Ardabil Free Trade Zone in the Bileh Savar district, the availability of high-level border terminals, and customs infrastructure have created opportunities for the economic development of the Bileh Savar district and Ardabil region. Investing in this region can witness economic development.

To note, Iran's Bileh Savar Customs is located on the border with Azerbaijan.
