BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. Iran's agricultural export value and volume grew by 29 percent and 11 percent, respectively, during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024).

Data obtained by Trend from the country's customs administration indicates that in the reporting year Iran exported $5.2 billion worth of 7.6 million tons of agricultural products.

The export chiefly included pistachios worth $1.5 billion, tomatoes ($233 million), and dates ($205 million).

To note, according to the report of the Iranian Customs Administration, last year, Iran exported nearly 152 million tons of non-oil products worth $57.8 billion, marking increase of 15.6 percent in value and 10 percent in weight compared to the previous year.

Iran exports agricultural products mainly to neighboring countries.
