Ilham Aliyev decrees to allocate funds to families of deceased, missing servicemen
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on additional measures to improve the social protection of family members of the servicemen who died for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and who went missing during military operations.
In accordance with the decree, the heirs of the servicemen who died for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and who went missing during military operations before August 2, 1997, will receive a one-time payment worth 11,000 manats.
The payment will be made by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population to the heirs of the servicemen, determined in accordance with the country's Civil Code.
Ilham Aliyev liquidates State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on measures to improve the management in the sphere of control over the consumer market, protection of standardization, metrology and copyright objects.
In accordance with the order, the State Agency for Antimonopoly Policy and Supervision of the Consumer Market is created on the basis of the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Rights Protection under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
As a result of reorganization through the merger of the Copyright Agency and the Center for Patent and Trademarks, the Intellectual Property Agency of Azerbaijan is created.
The State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents is liquidated.
Ilham Aliyev divides Ministry of Culture and Tourism into two structures
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on some measures in connection with the improvement of public administration in the sphere of culture and tourism.
In accordance with the order, the Ministry of Culture and the State Tourism Agency are established on the basis of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed within a month to submit draft regulations of the Ministry of Culture and the State Tourism Agency, proposals on the structure and number of employees to the president of Azerbaijan, ensure funding for the Ministry of Culture and the State Tourism Agency in 2018 as part of the funds provided to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the state budget for 2018.
