Some 3.9 million tons of cargo were transshipped through the Turkish Bandirma port from January through September 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend .
Moreover, 251,894 tons of cargo were transported by the ships flying the Turkish flag through Bandirma port while 3.6 million tons - by ships flying the flags of other countries.
"The goods were not transited through Bandirma port from January through September 2021," the ministry said.
Some 286.4 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports from January through September 2021.
