The Turkish port of Aliaga received 940 ships from January through February 2022, out of which 251 flew the flag of Turkey, and 689 - flags of other countries, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
According to the ministry, in February, Turkish ports overall received 3,898 ships, of which 1,156 flew the flag of Turkey, while 2,742 - flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey in the first two months of this year received 7,863 ships with 2,319 flying the Turkish flag, and 5,544 - flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey as of 2021 received 51,199 ships, with 15,120 flying the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 ships received by Turkish ports flew the flags of other countries.
