Over 55 million tons of goods have been loaded and unloaded in Iran’s southern Port of Shahid Rajaei in the first nine months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Director of the Ports and Maritime Department in Hormozgan Province Allahmorad Afifipour said, Trend reports via IRNA.
Outlining the performance of the Ports and Maritime Department at a meeting, he said that non-oil products accounted for 36.864 million tons of the total consignment of the loaded and unloaded goods.
He said that 18.545 million tons of the commodities were related to oil products.
Non-oil exports from the Port in the nine-month period were around 26.074 million tons.
During the reporting period, 2,778 ships have moored at 40 platforms of Shahid Rajaei Port, he added.
