For Argentina, Azerbaijan is a strategic partner, Ambassador of Argentina to Azerbaijan Sergio Osvaldo Perez Gunella told Trend.
“The activity of the Embassy at this moment is centering on commercial and economic relations and investments,” he said.
The ambassador noted that the idea is to try to put Argentina and Azerbaijan entrepreneurs to work together, and not just to buy and sell things to each other but to cooperate on a higher level.
“For Argentina, Azerbaijan is a strategic partner located in a part of the world with its own importance. Argentina does not have a lot of knowledge about this part of the world. That is why it is very important to have this particular relation with Azerbaijan. We understand that Azerbaijan is the window to tCentral Asia. This is the main factor,” the ambassador stressed.
“We are also working regarding the relations between universities, institutions. We organize cultural activities. We did that before the COVID-19 pandemic, now we are re-launching it,” he added.
