Azerbaijan's prime minister approved “Provision about information system of agricultural insurance” last week, Chairman of the Board of Agricultural Insurance Fund Fuad Sadigov said, Trend reports.
According to him, in the process of issuing agricultural insurance, the system will help to avoid direct contact between the parties, as well as paper documentation.
"Farmers registered in the electronic agricultural information system can apply to the fund online or through insurance agents. The fund will consider the application, and the insurance agreement will be concluded in electronic form, that is, to conclude an agricultural insurance contract, the farmer will not need to come from the region to Baku. The process of issuing insurance payments will also be carried out online. The farmer will apply to the insurance company. The respective documents will be received and considered by the fund, and a money transfer will be made," he said.
