BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. The volume of trade operations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye from January through November amounted to $5.6 billion.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this is $1.5 billion (21.8 percent) less than for the same period of last year.
In the reporting period, trade turnover with Türkiye amounted to 13.05 percent of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover.
Azerbaijan exported products worth $3.5 billion to Türkiye for 11 months, which is $1.5 billion (31.1 percent) less than in the same period last year. During this period, export operations with Türkiye amounted to 14.45 percent of the country's total exports.
To note, Azerbaijan increased the import of products from Türkiye by $17.1 million (0.8 percent) to $2.1 million in the period from January through November this year, compared to the same period last year. During this period, import operations with Türkiye amounted to 11.24 percent of the country's total imports.
