ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 29. If there is demand from Tatarstan and we will sign the relevant memorandums, we are ready to export horse meat and beef to Tatarstan, said Head of the Maulit Farm, deputy of Kazakhstan’s Abai regional maslikhat, Kayirly Hasenov, during a meeting with the Tatar delegation visiting the Abai region of Kazakhstan, Trend reports.

The delegation of Tatarstan, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Ziyabbarov, visited several farms in the Abai region of Kazakhstan. The delegation also included representatives from the Ministry of Tatarstan, specialists in rural cooperation development, as well as leaders of major processing enterprises of the republic. The guests visited the meat processing plant "ARAY-EAST FOOD", which produces sausages and meat delicacies in accordance with the "Halal" standard.

"At present, horse breeding is developing well in our country. The number of horses is also large. The only problem is meat sales. Our colleagues in Tatarstan are interested in horse breeding. And now the ultimate goal is to export quality meat products from Kazakhstan. We have slaughtering points ready. If there is demand from Tatarstan and we sign the relevant memorandums, we are ready to export horse meat and beef," said the head of the Maulit farm, deputy of the regional maslikhat Kayirly Hasenov.
