BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. Subsidy coefficients for the agricultural sector have been increased in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan, Trend reports via the statement from Nakhchivan's Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the relevant decisions, in 2025, the sowing coefficients and the amount of planting subsidies in the Nakhchivan economic region have been raised from 8,000 manat (4,700) to 14,700 manat (8,600) for vineyards established between September 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.

"At the same time, the sowing coefficients and the amount of planting subsidies for hazelnut orchards created within the above-mentioned period have been increased from 4,400 to 8,050 manat ( $2,600 to $4,700), for peach (nectarine) and apricot orchards from 4,000 to 24,500 manat ( $2,350 to $14,300), for pistachio orchards from 4,500 to 6,300 manat ( $2,650 to $3,700), for pear orchards from 8,000 to 25,200 manat ( $4,700 to $14,800)," the statement said.

Besides, the mentioned indicators for apple orchards were increased from 11,000 to 32,200 manat ($6,400 to $18,900), for persimmon orchards from 3,000 to 7,000 manat ($1,750 to $4,100), for almond orchards from 3,500 to 7,350 manat ($2,050 to $4,300), and for walnut orchards from 3,300 to 5,600 manat ($1,950 to $3,300).

The provision of subsidies in the agricultural sector in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be carried out in accordance with the coefficients established by the Agricultural Subsidy Council under the "Rules for Subsidizing Agricultural Production", approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, dated June 27, 2019.
