BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Anglo Asian Mining, a company focused on gold, copper, and silver production, primarily in Azerbaijan, has increased its gold output to 6,029 ounces in the first quarter of 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the company indicates that this represents an increase of 3,763 ounces, or 2.7 times more, compared to the same period in 2024 (2,266 ounces).
The company produced 8,085 ounces of gold equivalent in the first quarter, marking an increase of 5,537 ounces, or 3.2 times more, compared to the same period last year. In the first quarter of 2024, the company’s total production was 2,548 ounces of gold equivalent.
Moreover, the company noted that last year’s decline in production was due to a partial suspension of operations.
