ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 26. The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reported a reduction in the cost of freight transportation with Europe by up to 30 percent, thanks to the simplification and digitalization of issuing foreign permit forms for carriers, Trend reports.
“After streamlining the distribution of foreign permit forms (FPF), the cost of cargo transportation between Kazakhstan and Europe decreased by up to 30 percent. This, in turn, will positively affect the final cost of products delivered to us,” said Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev.
According to the Ministry of Transport, work is currently underway to expand the digital exchange of FPF with the countries of the Organization of Turkic States (Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan) and the Baltic states — Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
Foreign permit forms are usually official documents issued on special forms by foreign countries or international organizations to confirm certain permissions.
