BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 2. Azerbaijan exported 20.5 million kWh of electricity to Türkiye from January through April this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that the revenue from this electricity export volume amounted to $1.2 million.
Compared to the same period in 2024, electricity exports to Türkiye decreased by 374.3 million kWh (19.3 times) in volume and by $23.9 million (20.9 times) in value.
Specifically, in the first four months of last year, Azerbaijan exported 394.8 million kWh of electricity valued at $25.1 million to Türkiye.
Over the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported a total of 525.1 million kWh of electricity, worth $29.1 million, to Russia, Georgia, and Iran.
