ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 22. Kazakhstan will roll out a new package of industrial projects in 2025 as part of the country’s strategic development agenda, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Olzhas Saparbekov announced during a government meeting, Trend reports.
The government plans to implement a wide range of initiatives across the country, focusing on strengthening domestic production capacity and creating sustainable jobs. A significant share of the projects will be concentrated in the mining and metallurgical sector, with efforts aimed at increasing the depth of processing and supporting import substitution.
According to the vice minister, upcoming ventures include the production of straight-seam pipes and aluminum radiators in Karaganda, aluminum profiles in the Turkestan region, aluminum goods in Akmola, ferroalloys in Pavlodar, and cathode copper in Zhambyl. These projects are part of Kazakhstan’s broader push to stimulate industrial diversification and value-added manufacturing.
