Azeryolservis JSC under the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry has announced a tender for participation in implementing the Ujar-Zardab-Agdjabedi road reconstruction and development project, the tender commission said on May 24.
The project will be funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). It approved the allocation of a loan worth $224.42 million to Azerbaijan in February 2014.
The contractors for road and related infrastructure construction and consultants will be chosen as part of the tender. The equipment for the maintenance of the technical state of the roads will be purchased. A working group of the project will be formed.
