Iran's Tabriz Petrochemical Company in the country's East Azerbaijan Province sold products worth about 124 billion rials (about $457,000) at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), said the official IRENEX report obtained by Trend.
According to the IRENEX, the Tabriz Petrochemical Company sold 1,350 tons of products on the domestic floor of the Iran Energy Exchange.
These products were heavy distillate, liquid nitrogen, pentane, mazut and heavy hydrocarbons (C7-C9), the statistics said.
Iran's Tabriz Petrochemical Company is able to produce more than 815,000 tons of petrochemical products a year. These products are polyethylene, propylene, ABS, polystyrene, and others.
A total of 36 trillion rials (about $133 million) worth of products were sold at the IRENEX in the first month.
Reportedly, the products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate. SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 315,866 rials, and the price of $1 is 272,075 rials.
