BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 22. The crude oil production of Iran’s Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company (GOGPC) has reached 600,000 barrels daily, CEO of the company Gholam Reza Kamali said, Trend reports.
“In 2018, as a result of the imposition of oil export sanctions against Iran by the US, the crude oil production of the Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company decreased to 50,000 barrels per day,” Kamali noted.
The CEO also stated that the GOGPC, which is Iran's second largest crude oil production company, has fully implemented its 6-month plan.
Although Iran is currently under sanctions, the crude oil produced is being exported to various markets, he added.
Iran keeps its crude oil exports, revenues and destinations secret because of the sanctions imposed on the country.
