BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 14. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields in Azerbaijan produced a total of 644.8 million tons of oil (including condensate) and 455.6 billion cubic meters of gas since the start of commercial development on October 1, 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan shows that the ACG block’s production has reached around 597.2 million tons of oil and 226.1 billion cubic meters of gas since the start of its development in late 1997.
The first gas and condensate from Shah Deniz were produced in December 2006, contributing around 47.6 million tons of condensate and 229.5 billion cubic meters of gas to date.
"As of October 1, 2024, exports from these fields included approximately 642.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) and 163.9 billion cubic meters of gas," the Energy Ministry said in a statement.
