ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 14. Turkmenistan plans to organize training to improve the qualifications of civil aviation personnel based on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) program, the Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammetkhan Chakiyev said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
“It is planned to organize training based on the ICAO program to improve the qualification level of Turkmenistan Airlines personnel in the field of civil aviation,” the director general said.
He added that specialized courses will be held to increase cargo turnover at international airports and effective utilization of cargo depot capacities.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that civil aviation in Turkmenistan has been developing dynamically in recent years; new aircraft are regularly purchased, which requires training of specialists of international level.
