Türkiye announces its Antalya airport passenger traffic volume

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. The number of passengers arriving at Antalya airport in November 2024 amounted to 37 million, up seven percent from the same month in 2023.

The data obtained by Trend from the country's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure shows that passenger traffic on domestic flights at the airport this November increased by seven percent year-on-year and reached six million people, while passenger traffic on international flights - by eight percent, amounting to 31 million people.

Meanwhile, the cargo traffic volume at the airport grew by 10 percent to 476,730 tons. At the same time, cargo traffic on domestic flights hiked by 47 percent and amounted to 80,634 tons, while on international flights - by five percent, settling at 396,960 tons.

The number of flights in the reporting month went up by four percent compared to November 2023 and amounted to 226,309. Flights on domestic routes rose by three percent to 41,958, while flights on international routes - by four percent to 184,351.

To note, the overall passenger traffic at Turkish airports this November was 214.4 million people, and cargo traffic - 4.56 million people. In comparison, in 2023, the total passenger traffic figures for all Turkish airports reached 117.9 million people, while cargo traffic - 2.4 million tons.
