Türkiye recaps passenger traffic at Mugla's Dalaman Int'l Airport

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. The total influx of passengers at Türkiye’s Mugla Dalaman Airport in December 2024 rose by eight percent compared to the same month of 2023, reaching 5.66 million passengers.

The data obtained by Trend from the country’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure shows that last December, the airport's passenger turnover on domestic flights also increased by eight percent year on year and amounted to 1.9 million people, and on international flights - by eight percent to 3.75 million people.

Meanwhile, the airport's cargo traffic was 69,439 tons, a growth of 10 percent compared to December 2023.

Furthermore, in December 2024, the airport's cargo traffic on domestic flights rose five percent over the same month in the previous year to 16,430 tons, and cargo traffic on international flights hiked by 12 percent to 53,396 tons.

The number of flights from the airport last December went up by five percent year on year, equaling 48,550.

Meanwhile, the number of flights performed for domestic flights grew by five percent to 24,278, and for international flights, it increased by six percent to 24,272.

The passenger traffic in all airports in Türkiye in December last year amounted to 220.98 million people, and cargo turnover was 4.9 million tons.

To note, passenger traffic at all airports in Türkiye in 2023 was 117.9 million people, and cargo traffic was 2.4 million tons.
