BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. Türkiye's automotive industry exports to Azerbaijan decreased by 15.9 percent year-on-year to $67.7 million from January through September 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
“Türkiye exported automobile industry products worth $9.5 million to Azerbaijan in September this year, which is 4.8 percent less than in September last year,” the statement from the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of automotive industry products from January through September 2024 increased by 5.3 percent year over year to more than $26.9 billion.
“In September 2024, Türkiye's exports of automotive industry products to world markets decreased by 20.9 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $3.4 billion,” the statement notes.
To note, Türkiye exported $36.3 billion worth of automotive products in the last 12 months (from September 2023 through September 2024).
