BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 18. Azerbaijan imported a total of 82,926 cars worth $1.67 billion from January through November 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this represents an increase of $150.8 million (9.9 percent) in value and a 5,812-unit (6.5 percent) decrease in volume, compared to the same period last year.
Moreover, Azerbaijan imported 378 vehicles designed to transport 10 or more people (including the driver), valued at $60.22 million. Additionally, 74,366 passenger cars and other motor vehicles primarily intended for passenger transport were imported, totaling $1.42 billion.
