BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 27. Azerbaijan exported 49,400 tons of sugar and sweet treats, raking in a cool $38.1 million in 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistical Committee shows that this is $13.1 million (52.8 percent) more in value and 16,800 tons (51.6 percent) more in volume than the previous year when the export amounted to $24.9 million and the volume was 32,600 tons).
In the meantime, sugar and sugar confectionery exports made up a modest 1.32 percent of the nation's total exports in 2024.
