BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 6. The production of automobiles in Azerbaijan's industrial zones increased by about 34 percent last year compared to the same period of the previous year, Chairperson of the board of the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Seymur Adigozalov said at a press conference, Trend reports.
“Only last year, 3,761 cars worth 107.5 million manat ($63.2 million) were produced in Hajigabul Industrial Park, and 2,182 cars worth 54.6 million manat ($32.1 million) were produced in Neftchala Industrial Quarter. A sum of 442.5 million manat ($260.2 million) worth of cars was produced in industrial zones managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency (IZIA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan from 2018 through 2024,” he added.
