BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 21. The economic regions of Azerbaijan where food products and services saw the highest price increases in January 2025 have been revealed.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that in the reporting month, the highest price increase for total products and services was recorded in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (up by 1.4 percent compared to the same period last year), for food, and beverages, and tobacco products, in the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region (up by 1.2 percent compared to the same period last year), and for non-food products, in Mil-Mugan economic region (up by 0.8 percent compared to the same period last year).

The consumer price index (CPI) in January 2025 rose to 101.0 percent compared to December 2024 and 105.4 percent compared to January 2024.
