BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 30.​ The total number of energy charging stations in Azerbaijan has reached 184, Trend reports via the Central Bank (CBA) of Azerbaijan's "Sustainable Finance Report."

The data highlights a significant shift in the structure of car loans taken by individuals, with a notable increase in the share of environmentally friendly vehicles.

"Azerbaijan is making significant investments to modernize transportation infrastructure and enhance its sustainability in the transition to a green economy. To reduce carbon emissions and develop an eco-friendly transport system, the implementation of electric buses in public transport has expanded, the number of electric charging stations has increased, and bike lanes have been constructed," the report stated.
