BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan saw a year-over-year decline in automobile gasoline production from January through May 2025, totaling 549,300 tons.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this figure reflects a decrease of 65,700 tons or 10.7 percent compared to the same period in 2024 (615,000 tons).
Moreover, the country's gasoline reserves stood at 53,100 tons as of June 1, 2025.
In addition to the drop in gasoline output, Azerbaijan’s overall production value in the oil products sector totaled over 2 billion manat ($1.1 billion) during the reporting period — a 5.2 percent decrease compared to the same timeframe last year.
