Ukrainian State Enterprise Ukrkosmos reduced costs for operation of capacity of Azerbaijani telecommunications satellite Azerspace-1, a source on the telecommunications market of Azerbaijan told Trend Mar.4.
Transponder frequency has been changed and density of information flux in the signal of satellite reduced in order to reduce costs. New changes have also caused reduction in the number of Ukrainian TV channels broadcasted by Azerbaijani satellite.
To date, Ukrainian Central channel, Culture and Uaan TV channels broadcast with the help of Azerspace-1.
Earlier, TV channels Lviv TV, ChePe Info, Ukrainian Television and Radio and others were also broadcasting via Azerbaijani satellite.
In order to view television content, the user satellite dishes must be configured as follows: Frequency - 11169 MHz, speed: 20400, polarization - Horizontal, FEC - 5/6.
Satellite operator of Azerbaijan renders services of digital television, data transmission, creation of VSAT multiservice networks via the use of Azerspace / Africasat-1a telecommunication satellite.
The first Azerbaijani satellite was launched on February 8, 2013. The satellite is located at the orbital position of 46 degrees east longitude. The service area of Azerspace / Africasat-1a includes the countries of Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Middle East and Africa.
